Brighton Fringe – Pebble Trust funding for young people
Subject Brighton Fringe – Pebble Trust funding for young people
Message Hi there, I’m writing from Brighton Fringe in regards to some a great funding opportunities we have available for young people taking part in Brighton Fringe 2014. I was wondering if this might be something you’d be able to share around your various networks for us? The Pebble Trust are kindly offering three awards to young people aged 25 and under who wish to put on an event, who are Brighton & Hove residents. This could be in any category including Theatre, Literature, Visual arts, Comedy, Dance, Cabaret and Music. A panel of expert judges will pick three winners who will each receive:- 1) Brighton Fringe registration fees paid by The Pebble Trust.    Once registered, the winners will be part of the biggest arts festival in England and will be able to access all the benefits offered by Brighton Fringe Participant Services    2) £300 towards production costs For example, the money could be used for venue or equipment hire, marketing, buying props etc. 3) Up to three professional mentoring sessions with one of the judges (Craig Whitely and Cici Blumstein) Our experienced and expert judges will offer invaluable advice to the winners in the months leading up to Brighton Fringe. All those involved in the planned event should be residents of Brighton and Hove aged 25 or under at the time of application.  The event should be conceived, initiated, developed and produced entirely by the applicant(s).  (For example, projects led by a teacher or equivalent individual are not eligible.)  The closing date for initial applications is Friday 29th November 2013. It would be great if you could help us to spread the word, I look forward to hearing from you, Kindest regards, Hannah
